The Hidden Treasure - Matthew
Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them,
Mat 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

a man = God (John 3:16)
Field = the world (Mat 13:38)
Hideth = The gospel hidden to those who are lost (2 Cor 4:3-4)
all that he hath = his only begotten son, Jesus (John 3:16) (1 Cor 6:20)
In other words:
Jesus paid it all.
