Doctrines Concerning

God, The Father

C. That the Father is the originator and author of Scripture.

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Personal Opinion:

The question that comes to my mind is where does Scripture with a capital S begin, or more importantly end?

God (except maybe concerning the Ten Commandments written in stone on Mount Sinai) never does the actual writing.  He gives the message sometimes to angels and sometimes directly to Prophets who preach the word and sometimes the committing is done by actual hearers and sometimes the hearers pass it on and the so to speak children of grandchildren hearers do the actual committing to the written word.

What I'm trying is to say, it's a problem to distinguish true Scripture from corrupted Scripture.
