God, The Father

B. That the Father was the designer and creator of the universe, completing His work in six literal twenty-four hour days.

Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Mal 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Personal Opinion:

The story in Genesis Chapter One raises more questions than answers in my mind and I am satisfied that that is the way God intended when He gave it to us.  We were created with only a finite capacity to contain the knowledge of God and His ways.  Too much knowledge now would take away our need for faith and faith is an attribute which He wants us to cultivate.

One thing I am sure He wants us to take on faith is that, to God, time has no meaning.  So when He speaks of days, weeks, years we must recognize He is speaking on His terms, not ours.

So, how God measures his days to me remains a mystery with no need to limit it to our concept of twenty-four hours.
