The Bible

Preserved - the protection of the Scriptures from loss, destruction or decay. God's guarantee that He will providentially protect His written revelation to the human race and that its power to bring men to faith will never be diminished.

Personal Opinion:

I note there is no citation from scripture for this promise.  It makes good common sense based on God's love and justice, but still I would like to be able to point to something in scripture that guaranties that only true words of God are included; that none were left out and that the translation I am reading is accurate.

I have faith that all this is true, but to a skeptic my faith and a nickel will buy a good five cent cigar.
