Plenary Inspiration — All of the Scriptures are fully and equally inspired.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Personal Opinion:

It does seem like we are between a rock and a hard place.  We have no choice but to take it on faith that all scripture is fully and equally inspired by God or we have to rely on our own best judgment as to which is and which isn't.

Relying on our own best judgment in effect means relying on the judgment of every Tom, Dick and Harry who ever we allowed during our life time to have access to our hearts and and minds to influence our personal code of values.  We really can't pin the blame on these people if things go wrong  The choice was ours.

So, best we rely on the Bible; then if things go wrong (but of course they won't) God gets the blame, not us.
