The Bible

Infallible - The Scriptures are incapable of any teaching error because the author, God is incapable of error.

Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Personal Opinion:

It is an act of faith to accept  the Bible as infallible, as never the source of teaching an error.  People point to the fact that in the past, the Bible has been used to justify slavery, to practice polygamy, and other out and out ungodly customs.

I can only fall back on my faith that God is infallible and perfectly just.  It is the people who read and interpret that are fallible and sinful.  The error is with the reader, not the writer.
