Inerrant - The Scripture is without error in all of its content. This includes theological content as well as science, history, prophecy, morality, etc. Any seeming error is the product either of faulty translation or the incomplete understanding on the part of the reader.

Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Psa 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Psa 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Personal Opinion:

I can't say the verses referred to in support of inerrancy go to prove that God wants us to go to his word when attempting to solve scientific questions.  Science by its very nature deals only with matters which can be solved by logic and mathematics.  God gave most of us very good brains, perfectly adequate to handle such questions.

In fact my opinion is that the exercising of our brains is one of the talents we are expected to use while here on earth.  It would seem to be at cross purposes if God gave us answers to scientific matters in his word.

Now matters of faith and morals are a different matter.  No amount of logic or proof can be reached with the human tool of language which is ambiguous in the extreme.  Our only hope is divine guidance and there it is, in the Bible
